Video: 4,000+ Farmers Butchered: When Will SA Wake Up?
This video shows the victims and tells the horrific stories. In the early morning of 6 November 2020, four men invaded a farm where Peter Heels and his son Eddie Heels were staying. Peter was shot dead on scene, and Eddie was stabbed in the neck, damaging his cervical vertebrae and trachea, suffering severe wounds. He was declared brain dead but unfortunately succumbed to his injury.
Gustav Ropert and his wife were at the Valkermut farm when they heard a car hooting at the gate. When Ropert went outside to check, his wife saw six men who were there, and they said they were trying to buy rasp bales. The six men were then informed by Gustav that it was Sunday and he would not help them before going back into the house. Shortly after that, Gustav told his wife that he decided to assist them in any way. The six men overpowered and strangled Gustav when he went outside to assist them.
Sonja Mostert and her boyfriend Lucas van Yerden are the recent victims of farm attacks and various robberies. They were sitting on their couch when, the next moment, a massive man with a balaclava and a shorter man appeared. The tall one had a gun and the short man had a monkey wrench with him. The suspects calmly told them to keep quiet. Then they cut the living room's lamp electrical cord off and started to tie them up. They immediately demanded money and firearms. They took some of Lucas's shoelaces to tie him up tighter. The couple was instructed to lie on the ground while the suspects began to search the house for valuables.
While Sonja was tied up on the floor, she started to get an anxiety attack. The one suspect drained an entire bottle of wine over her head because he wanted to calm her down. She pleaded to be untied because she was struggling to breathe. He untied her hands behind her and re-tied her hands in front of her. He then took Sonja to one of the rooms and threw her on top of the bed before he walked out of the room and locked the door. After a while he returned, saying Lucas was dead because he did not want to cooperate. Sonja then told him just kill me and get it over with. He said he wanted to show her something and took off her pajama pants and unzipped his pants. It was then when she hysterically shouted at him, do you know God? Do you have children? What would you do if this was happening to your family?
Sonja pleaded persistently. The suspect then turned around on his track and fetched a pair of socks and stuffed it into her mouth. He put a pillow on her face and tossed a tablecloth over her and walked away. After it started to quiet down, Lucas started calling out to Sonja. She got up and forced herself through a small space of the window and ran around the house to get in. At around 4.15, Sonja called the farm worker for help, and the authorities were notified shortly thereafter. They were suffering for 6 hours. This was going on.
A British woman, Sue Halworth, and her husband Robert Lynn were woken up at 2am by three men breaking into a window of their remote farm in Dylstrom. The couple, who had lived in the area for 20 years, were tied up, stabbed and tortured with a blow torch for several hours. The masked man stuffed a plastic bag down Mrs Halworth's throat and then attempted to shaggle her husband with a bag around his neck. The couple were bundled into their own truck, still in their pyjamas, and driven to the roadside where they were shot. Mrs Halworth, 64 years old, was shot twice in the head. Mr Lynn, 66, was shot in the neck. Miraculously he survived and managed to flag down a passenger early on Sunday morning.
The police said Mrs Halworth was unrecognisable from her injuries, had multiple skull fractures, gunshot wounds and horrific burns to her breast. She was discovered among some trees lying in a ditch. Her rescuers managed to find her by following groans of pain and then noticing drag marks from the road into the field. Her head was covered with a towel, her eyes were shut, and she was partially clothed, with just scraps of her shirt remaining. Her breast and upper body was bloody. The plastic bag shoved down her throat took some time and effort to remove because her jaw was clamped down tightly. How she managed to breathe with her bag in her throat remains a mystery. One of her rescuers later recalled how Sue was unresponsive except for a constant groaning. Whilst the man ran back to the road saying her ambulance has not arrived yet, she managed to curl one of her arms around her breast in a last attempt to protect herself. She was rushed to the hospital and placed on life support, but she died two days later.
64 year old Nikki Simpson was tortured with a power drill during an attack involving her at her home on a farm in the fall area. And this is just a drop in the bucket of thousands of stories out there like this. Of innocent people being tortured like animals. These people that do these things are unhuman. Some of them don't even rob. They do these unspeakable acts for the fun of it to prove a point. What that point is, I do not know.
How much longer of this do we need to take before there will be changes? How much more people need to die? There have been over 4,000 farmers murdered since 1994. Our farmers, our people, the people that supply food and clothes are being killed off one by one in the most horrifically gruesome ways. Thank you.
